Krista Zsako - Inkerbelle Tattoos
Tell us a bit about your journey becoming a small business owner?
Previously I worked in the construction industry for 10+ years, as an architectural technologist and home designer, before being laid off in 2015. At that time I stumbled into an opportunity to start an apprenticeship as a tattoo artist in early 2016. After completing my apprenticeship, I went on to start my own business, Inkerbelle Tattoos.
What age did you become interested in art and designing. Would you say its your passion?
I have been into art for my whole life. In primary my teacher would let me draw instead of participating to my mother’s dismay.
Do you have a process of what you like to paint and draw or does it stem from your interests?
I will work with people on just about any subject. Event though I have more styles I love more then some. I really enjoy making people’s tattoo visions become a reality.
What services do you offer (business/art wise) Can your items be customized.
I offer custom sterile tattoos as my main source of income. I am sometimes commissioned to draw portraits of people and pets. I have done paintings for kid rooms. Anything artistic I enjoy. I’s always open to discussing requests.
Tell us more about your tattoo business? How can we get ahold of you to get one done?
I am currently on a medical leave. However, the best place to contact me is through my messenger on my facebook page. I have an Instagram for business, as well which is great for viewing photos. E-mails and phone calls are not best methods as its difficult to keep them in cue on waiting lists accurately.
The deck chair in front of the store you designed is stunning! Please tell us more about it and how you came up with the design, that we can all enjoy for years to come.
The goal was to keep it summer themed. I stuck with common elements people connect with. I really wanted adults and children to both enjoy it.
